WINning words

WIN changes lives, empowers attendees and helps them develop meaningful relationships.

Here are just a few real stories, shared with us by our members, about the power of WIN:

Darrell Plummer

DARRELL PLUMMER,  SIERRA NEVADA PROPERTIES

WIN continues to provide a venue not offered by any other business organization in Northern Nevada.  This is one of many reasons I have been a member for more than 30 years and am honored to have served on WIN’s Board for 14 years, as well as past president in 2014.  WIN offers nationally recognized speakers who motivate, inspire, educate and inform.  WIN members represent a group of proactive business professionals from public and private sectors in our community.  They are doers and I am honored to be associated with this organization.  There is nothing more positive than a WIN event.

BRUCE BRESLOW, NEVADA STRATEGIES

I’ve enjoyed my first new year as a WIN member. (I was a past member). Monthly WIN breakfasts are one of the best business networking events in Northern Nevada. Whether you are looking to meet key people in large or small businesses, they are all there and welcoming to introductory conversations and follow-up meetings. The monthly breakfasts at the Atlantis are well attended and offer a wide variety of professional speakers.

Staci Nauman

STACI NAUMANN, KELLER WILLIAMS

Why do I belong to WIN?  Easy – it’s simply the best networking opportunity in Reno!  I’m able to make new connections, strengthen the relationships I already have and help others get connected to our community.  The speakers are top-notch with a different message every month.  Whether it’s motivational, business building related or economical – I always learn something new.  I encourage you to join – it’s worth you time!

DAVID BRANBY, UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA, RENO

I have always thought of WIN as Reno’s “homeroom” for business and networking — it’s where you can meet many of the movers and shakers who power the Northern Nevada economy. I met University of Nevada, Reno President Marc Johnson at a WIN breakfast in 2009. Today, I work at the University. When I worked in advertising, I met many folks at WIN who later became clients. One of the best things about WIN, though, are the guest speakers. They’re always interesting and inspiring. If you’re looking to get ahead in business and life, WIN is a great place to start.
